Hi, I'm DJ Beachball!

In 2020, I was drunk at bar at 2am [uninspired & dull], doom scrolling through my phone when all of a sudden I was JOLTED with a call to adventure!

I see a tweet with an open invite to join a sunrise hike dance party starting in just 3 hours! from on of my favorite YouTubers!

I uber straight to Malibu and arrive before everyone. I laid in the dirt as I watched the stars. I suddenly felt alive- a stark contrast from the bar just hours earlier.

Soon hundreds of people arrive for the hike dance party. and we began walkin!

We arrive at the peak of the hike and the sun rays are beaming through the bright orange clouds. We could have been in heaven!

As the music is bumping everyone is jumping luaghing and feeling FREE!

Soon a dance circle opens up within the crowd- and I'm right on the rim.

People are jumping in and owning the spotlight!

I want to jump in SO BADLY... but I'm in my head...

I wish someone just gave me a push on my shoulder...

The dance party ends... and I never jumped in... and it eats me alive...

I left the hike feeling SO INSPIRED... INVIGORATED... Like I had a BREAKTHROUGH!!

I discovered what REAL fun was all about! - and I couldnt unsee it!

but I was also SO DISSAPPOINTED...

What stopped me from just jumping in the dance circle???

whatever it was... I refused to let it happen again.

from that day forward, I was determined to recreate the EXPIRIENCE and share that same beautiful feeling with more people!

So I throw my first Meditation dance party... 1 person shows up. we dance anyway!

My 2nd event 4 people... 3rd 7 people... 4th 3 people.... 5th 2 people... 6th 1 person shows up...

Maybe I should give up, I asked myself... but even with 3 people- I loved it! so I continued.

and good thing I didn't stop!

My 7th event 45+ people bought tickets! I was ecstatic!

I led a meditation and finally was able to RECREATE the dance circle and FINALLY jump in!!!

Full circle... transforming pain into a purpose of enabling others to step into the spotlight!

Now at my events, I facilitate the dance party so that everyone will get a chance to shine!

I'm now that person nudging people on the shoulder to take that leap of faith and OWN the spotlight!!!

Knowing that on the otherside of taking the risk of being seen, potencially looking dumb or silly - is pure excitment, connection and JOY!

and after-all~ you can't dance bad if you having fun :)
